Welcome to the ancient faith that has illuminated hearts for nearly two millennia. St. George Coptic Orthodox Church in Daytona Beach stands as a beacon of the unchanged Christian faith, preserving the pure teachings delivered by Saint Mark the Apostle to Egypt in 43 A.D.

Our church represents an unbroken chain of apostolic succession, carrying forward the sacred traditions established by Christ Himself through His apostles. As Saint Athanasius the Great, the 20th Pope of Alexandria, proclaimed: "The faith which the Lord gave, was preached by the Apostles, and was preserved by the Fathers." This living faith continues to transform lives today, just as it did in the first century.

The Coptic Orthodox Church confesses that our Lord Jesus Christ is perfect God and perfect man, united in one nature without confusion, change, division, or separation - the mystery of the Incarnation that Saint Cyril of Alexandria so eloquently defended. He is the eternal Son, begotten of the Father before all ages, who became flesh for our salvation and remains the only Savior of the world.

We honor the saints not as objects of worship, for worship belongs to God alone, but as victorious athletes of faith who guide us by their example toward the "crown of righteousness" (2 Timothy 4:8). They are our spiritual family, having "fought the good fight" and now interceding for us before the throne of grace.
